Watching the sunset is one of the best parts of any Bali trip. Along Baliโs west coast, from Canggu to Kuta, you will find plenty of beautiful places to catch the last light of the day.
After living in Bali for a while, I kept coming back to these three spots. Each has a different atmosphere, so choose the one that fits your mood.
Sunset Spots in Canggu:
๐ด 1. Batu Belig Beach
๐ Location: Jl. Batu Belig, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
๐งก For a quieter sunset
โ Relaxed and less crowded
โ A nice choice if you want a more local feel

Batu Belig Beach is where I go when I want a peaceful sunset.
I used to visit some of Cangguโs popular beach bars, but the crowds and long waits were not always what I was looking for. I found Batu Belig while searching for somewhere a little quieter, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots.

The beach is wide and open, with a beautiful view of the sunset. It is usually less busy than the nearby hotspots, and you will often see locals here too.
If you want to slow down and enjoy the view without too much going on around you, this is a great pick.
Sunset Spots in Canggu:
๐ด 2. Berawa Beach
๐ Location: Jl. Pemelisan Agung, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
๐งก For an easy sunset near central Canggu
โ Lively atmosphere with strong waves
โ Close to FINNS and Atlas

Berawa Beach is an easy choice if you are staying in central Canggu.
It is known for its strong waves, so you will usually find surfers, locals, and travelers hanging around the beach. It has more energy than Batu Belig, but it is still a lovely place to unwind at the end of the day.

I ended up here by chance one evening and arrived just in time for sunset. The sky turned the prettiest shade of pink, and it is still one of the most memorable sunsets I have seen in Bali.

Berawa is also close to FINNS and Atlas, so you can easily add it to your beach club plans. But even on its own, it is well worth a visit.
Sunset Spots in Canggu:
๐ด 3. Double Six Beach
๐ Location: Legian, Jl. Double Six, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia
๐งก For a classic Bali sunset and great photos
โ A wide beach with a lively atmosphere
โ Great for sunset walks and photos

Double Six Beach is one of the most well-known sunset spots near Seminyak and Kuta.
It is a little farther from central Canggu, but the long stretch of sand and wide-open sky make the trip worth it.

The beach is always lively, with both locals and travelers enjoying the evening. You might even spot a few cute dogs wandering along the sand. ๐
The sunset colors here are often bright and clear, making it a great place for photos.
๐ฃ My favorite way to enjoy it

Get to Double Six Beach around sunset, then take a slow walk toward Seminyak Beach as the sky changes color. It is such a simple plan, but it makes for a perfect Bali evening. ๐งก
Each of these spots has a different vibe. Whether you are looking for somewhere quiet, somewhere lively, or a classic beach sunset, there is always a beautiful view waiting for you in Bali. ๐
